Ron Paul refuses to back McCain

In a CNN interview Ron Paul said he would not back McCain. He was on with Ralph Nader. He said he would back a third party candidate.

Ron Paul backing Ralf Nader is odd dont you think?

Ron Paul is a true Liberatarian and Ralf Nader wants a 100% tax on every one for all $$ above something like $75K

seems RP and Bob Barr ought to gang up.

I'm sorry I didn't make it clear. Ron Paul isn't backing Ralph Nader. They were on at the same time is all.

Re: Ron Paul refuses to back McCain

My bet is Ron Paul and his group join up with Bob Barr. That would make a lot more sense than a Nader partnership.

ahh....

i think the third party representation is slim pickings.

if some group really were to be about real conservitive values and were to start at the local level, I would support them.

but instead of acutally building a real viable party, they just find someone to run for president and undo any real value they might have.

It's got to be from the bottom up.

LOL! I guess if you live long enough you will see everything!

I have been saying it for years. used to give old Chancellor fits about it on FCF.

But the bottom line is, for a third party to work, it will have to start in some cities, then some state houses then win some congressional distericts then some senate seats and a few Gov. offices...

THEN and only then should that party field a Presidential candidate. IF a group ever does this, and they have real conservitive views, I will be on board BIG TIME.

I don't have time to read all the comments, but Ron Paul is always for a third party. What is the big deal? Everyone knows that.
