Is Your "Main" Sunday Service AM or PM?

If your church still has a Sunday morning and Sunday evening service which one is considered your main service?

Which one does your choir sing in?

Have you seen any change in recent years in which service is considered the main one on Sunday?

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.

"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.

"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

I think the church here is one of the only ones in the metro area that still has church on Sun nights. The morning service is the same it has been for almost 20 years. Sunday night is the biggie...

That really depends. AM is the main service for the "outer court" people and the PM is the main for the "inner court" people

The church I go to has only one service on Sunday and it is in the morning. It starts at 10:30 an finishes around noon. During part of the service children go to children's church.

We have a Wednesday night service, actually 3 separate services on Wednesday night.
Super Kids' church (about 80 or 90 kids) meet in the auditorium after pizza.
Youth service is in the basement. I think they have about 50 there.
Adult Bible Study is in an upstairs Sunday School Room.

We only have Sunday morning service and that makes me sad. We do still have Wednesday night bible study, but it's not a Sunday night service.

Same here. chior and shockamoo on Sun night. But numbers are about the same for both.

I missed them both today... had a family "reunion" for lunch and am now in St Louis for two days of business meetings.

It's almost as good, but not quite. We have 10am Sunday School. Then 11am worship. We seem to usually be out by 12:15, which is really no longer than the Sunday mornings we had 10 years ago. It just feels too short. But, years ago when I was a teenager in MS and Bro. Hoyt would get going we wouldn't leave Sunday night service until well after 10pm. And we started at 6pm.
