Pray for my wife

Hi there everyone...I just got word that my beloved just had her position at work eliminated. She is the Manager of Finance and with the ship halfway under water, they got tired of her responsible accounting and fiscal conservatism.

Be that as it may, it is never a fun thing to be laid off, but God knows all, sees all and is in it all.

Pray that the Lord uplift her spirit and give her the confidence of his presence and grace.

She is a dear dear woman and the only person who actually deserves every single blessing that comes her way...despite the man she chose to marry.

Carp,

I know how stressful things like this can be. She is lucky to have you there lifting her up. I will be praying for her, you, and the entire family.

I have had some tough times through the years but the one thing common to every one of those tough situations is that with the help of God I made it through.

Carp, I am sorry to hear about this happening to your wife. Hopefully she will be able to find a better job than the one she has now. Are they at least offering her some sort of severance package to alleviate the blow?

Yea, they gave her a small package but after 10 years of faithful service it was rather insulting...but like I mentioned, the second generation is driving that company in the ground. It won't be here a year from now after recently celebrating 50 years of business.
