A Proud Mom & Dad

We had Parent Teacher conferences this week for both of our daughters.
They are in grades 2 & 3. They have received good grades on their report Cards
for which we are thankful, but it was this one comment on the card that blew me away.

Our oldest Kristin has a journal in which she writes her stories in.
One of her stories/Poems was entitled "I Wonder.."

"I Wonder..."

I wonder what it will look like in Heaven. I think you won't have to cry or get mad. I think you'll never get hurt.I wonder if we'll live in Diamond & Golden Mansions.
I think we'll fly everywhere like birds. I wonder if we'll praise the Lord without stopping.
I wonder if we'll never eat and drink and still live.
I think we will live like Queeens & Kings.
I wonder if your Mom and Dad plus your friends will be your Brothers and Sisters in Heaven.

If I knew everything, everything would be so boring.
But I still wonder about things.

Kristin B

Awww - that's so cute and a testimony to the fact she's absorbing what she's learning about scripture and that she's a "thinker" already.

Thanks. We are blessed! I have always prayed for our kids to be healthy and have a heart for God.

I have never prayed for them to be Rocket Scientists, Nobel Prize Winners.

That is great Ron!

My boys (2nd and 4th Grade) had parent teacher cnferences a few weeks ago. I was one proud momma that night! And it wasn't about their grades--it was that they are known throughout the school to be very well mannered. One teacher even asked what church we go to.

That is awesome. Our children can be witnesses, with or without the Holy Ghost!
I am glad that your children are known for their manners.
Ours are too!

Maybe a bit off the subject but my late father told us children (all

eleven) "If I am a success depends on you children! I've invested

everything in you".

Daddy and Momma, you did your part! God is doing His!

Blessings,
