The Kansas version of "the big apple" is Manhattan- home to K-STATE.
You didn't see sunflowers because they haven't bloomed yet. Take you a trip about June or July and you'll see thousands and thousands of them. There are fields and fields of them. They grow wild here. When they bloom I'll step out my door and take some pictures and send them to ya.
Yes, we have and AWESOME Apostolic pastor here. IMHO, he's one of the greatest ones you'll meet. (Not biased, just have great taste and a brain that knows what good is.
