CC1's Requests Before Leaving
Tomorrow evening I am leaving on vacation and it looks like my day is going to be crazy right up until time to leave for the airport so I may or may not get to post any tomorrow.
In case I can't post here are my requests for AFF until I get back 2/11/08;
1. Please don't split the UPC again and form any new organizations. I absolutely will not have the time to catch up on any more new org. threads.
2. If the esteemed pastor of CLC shows up on a webcast in any striking vests please make a note and PM me. I am trying to keep track in case vests come back in style.
3. If NLYP gets unbanned while I am gone try to control him long enough for me to get back and enjoy posting with him at least a day or two before he is banned again.
4. While I am gone just ditto me on Pianoman's posts about the UPC or Old Time Pentecost (just remember I am much kindler and gentler when it comes to the Tulsa Word Wide United Holiness Pentecostal Movement Incorporated than he is).
5. While I am gone just ditto me on Ferd's posts when it comes to politics.
6. Do not pick on Elder Epley about being short while I am gone. (I don't want to miss any good new one liners about it)
7. If Steadfast goes ahead and turns in his license and joins the WWPF because so many UPC churches in his area are socially drinking and allowing couples to shack up please PM me and let me know.
8. Please discourage Stephen Hoover from joining the next cast of Survivor. It is not the "next step" he should take in his reality TV career.
9. Please be kind to rgcraig and scupples as we should value our elders.
10. Last but not least everybody treat each other well and lift up whoever needs it in prayer.

Hope the boat doesn't sink! Remember the Titanic! (or was that the Alamo?)

Have a safe trip, eat well, dance with your wife, and have fun.

About ten years ago I was in Indy right about this time of year for the National Religous Broadcasters convention and it was the coldest day on record for that date! It was 11 or 12 degrees below zero with a chill factor of -30. I thought I was going to die.

Since I have taken that advice about eating well for way too long I may be too fat to get my arms around my wife to dance with her but I will try!
