+++Very, Very Odd...Have you noticed this?+++
This thread might get deleted, but I am going to post it.
If you will look at the list of names on the committees for the World Wide Pentecostal Fellowship at this link, http://www.worldwidepf.com/page.php?ID=6 , you will notice that none of the names on here (and correct me if I am wrong) are African American, Hispanic, or Asian...... WOW. Is this odd or is it just me? All of the preachers on this committee are either still UPC or have recently just dropped their licence. Whats going on? Has anybody else noticed this?

Apostolic is defined on AFF as:
- There is One God. This one God reveals Himself distinctly as Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
- The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (1Tim 3:16)
- Every sinner must repent of their sins.
- That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
- That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
- The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.

Sorry, I meant to say people not names. King and Johnson are both white.

Hello, Martin Luther King Jr. was African American. Sis. Willie Johnson the evangelist was African American. You can't tell peoples race by their names. And in our horrible history of slavery the slaves often had the names of their owners.

I think he meant that he personally knows the ministers on this list named Johnson and King, and knows that they are white - not that the name itself is solely dedicated to one race or another.

And how many have been asked? How many should be asked? What percentage should there be? How many should they be required to interview?

Ethnic names are not displayed?
The very reason that anyone would even pay attention to that is a subtle form of racism.
Are you so racially conscience that it really matters. I kind of like the idea of foks just being folks without any thought of what is of a race concern or what is not. LIVE and just let LIVE. Let us get out minds off of each others skin color and the ethnic sounding names. **** In appropriate language Edited out by Admin****
By the way...what is an African-American???? Sounds like someone who is an African that happens to be in America who still holds allegiances to somewhere in Africa. Oh good grief!!!!!!!!! Wonder why some folk cannot assimilate?

True...
But if someone is looking (which I aint) there would be no trouble in recognizing what kind of name Osama Hussein Obama. That is about as MUSLIM as you can get.
Personally, I am not ready for a Muslim President...especiallly so soon after 9/11.

Well we know this is not a very diverse group from the reasons of creating the organization. There may be something to this.
Maybe they haven't gotten their hands on the multicultural mailing list from HQ. They may need to get a plant to "get" it for them.
