Cook is best critic of foreign policy

"Remember Shoshana Johnson, the soldier captured in the early days of the Iraq war along with Jessica Lynch and others, becoming the first-ever black female POW? Well, her new book about the 22-day ordeal is not good news for her former commander in chief, George W. Bush. "At the time, I didn't know if it was the right thing to do," the Bronze Star recipient says of the war. "There was no doubt in my mind that Saddam [Hussein] was a bad guy," says the former Army cook. "But as hard as they tried, the Bush administration hadn't convinced me that Saddam had anything to do with 9/11 or that he had any connection to Osama bin Laden." Worse, she says in I'm Still Standing, "I thought sending troops into Iraq was going to divert our attention" from hunting bin Laden down in Afghanistan."

Seriously? She was a cook she doesn't make policy nor does she have the information of someone on the President's staff.

Her opinion of Bush's policy is no more credible than 299 + million other people in this country.

Everybody has an opinion. Doesn't mean they are right.

I have heard many times they did find the weapon and they know where they are now. They know when they were moved and they know who moved them.

Media will never tell the truth because it goes against their agenda.

She certainly has the right to express her opinion. What irritates me is that the media acts as if she has some special insight because she was "the first black female POW." Tell your story I am sure it sell. But why should we care about your opinion of the war? If she thought that the war was justified would anyone care about her story? Getting caught by the enemy doesn't make you an authority of why we went to war.
