Motives and attitudes do need to be dealt with, but in a manner that makes us search our spirits not in physical objects. The way it was presented on this forum, I have not read the entire thread -it just seemed to be a very immature way of looking at spiritual matters. I don't know if I am making any sense so I will quit and let the more eloquent take over.

Either way it is somebody really stretching to find it.

Some people have pride in supposedly not having pride. Over emphasyzing piety can be pride in itself.

Where drums are placed does not have one thing to do with pride, attitude, or evil spirts 999 out of 1,000 times I am willing to bet.

I just can't even comprehend the kind of mindset that walks into a church and judges it by where the drums are placed or what kinds of instruments are played.

I was not referring to you in particular.. anyone in general! Its just sad!!! But some people do have that mentality I should have went further with that post but just didnt think it deserved more effort.

I see where this is such a mentality with people now however. We had a family from our old church go to preach a revival... The husband played piano.. the dude was nearly 70 yrs old... he was told he needed to dress more manly!!!! HELLO!!!! This man had on a black suit and white shirt.. no tie at that time he had already taken it off at the urging of the pastor and black dress shoes.. needs to look more manly??? I did not mean that in regards to you at all just that mentality sorry

No offense taken!! None at all... but the deal with the old man, sounds like theres something else wrong there with the man instructing him to do so, taking that from what u r saying of course.

We were under the impression he had some prior incidents happen at his church with visiting musician/preacher that caused him to be this way.. would have been nice if we had known beforehand LOL

He's not in the manual. Oops, yes he is.
He said this about her. Oops, I assumed it was her.
He talked about them. Oops, he didn't say them by name.
He did this. Oops, it was my friend that said it not me.

Go on people. Rally the troops. Let's attack good men we know pretty much nothing about. Arm yourselves with facts that just aren't.

Puke. What a pathetic mess of suppositions some people will gather around.

Amen!
