Are you teaching that the wife MUST not work outside of the home (in your church)? Is this part of the role reversal you complain about? Are all women who work outside the home feminist?
Is it ok to preach this at your church because you are the spiritual authority and know what is best for each home?
Are you sure its the women who have a problem with submission and not someone else having a problem with controling what is not theirs to control? Just checking...
And before you attack me as a feminist; I will let you know that I believe my viewpoint of marriage most closely is alligned with Coonskinner. Carry on!

Funny the women staying home part...seems like some of the husbands I have spoke to lately do more housework when they get home...
A person I work with yesterday talked with me about his marriage...seems like he just wanted to tell someone... His wife works part-time (10 hrs a week) for the church he attends... well she is so worked...she is tired when she gets home... he does dishes, laundry, cleans the house, and cooks...
I told him... Bro.. your wife ain't tired.. she's lazy... but you know who's fault that is??? I told him it your fault... You haven't corrected the situation yet..
so until he corrects the situation it will remain...
some wives have the same problems with their husbands...they do everything while bubba does nothing... you know who's fault that is??? it's theirs because until they correct the situation... it will remain...

Hm, this would be ideal, but is it realistic? For example, if we tell our women that their primary job is #2 above, what happens if that man does not do #1 and leaves her? Or what happens, if God forbid, he becomes disabled from an accident? We teach our women that all that matters is what they become in God, and while that's true, that does not mean they don't need an education. Yes, I realize the topic is not education, but the world has changed and while the role of the women is ideally to care for the home and children, it's just not that realistic. They need a way to be strong and in charge is tragedy strikes. Nope, I say a strong woman is an asset to the family, church, whatever. I agree that women can be catty, manipulative, gossipy, etc. I have seen a women here at my company usurp the authority of the manager. I realize that the majority of the mess that has been created here is because of that. Then it dawned on me, he let her. Who's the man around here, who's the boss?

And for me personally, I am more productive when I'm busier. I don't know why that is . . Then again, I don't have a choice but to work, but if I did, I probably would, or work part time and go to school full time instead of the other way around.

Sure. If I am a feminist because of my views about marriage; then Coonskinner is too (given that our viewpoints about the subject are more similar than not) as I see it.

Now that's funny right thar... if you don't think that's funny... you need to call your wife and tell her that dress makes her backside look big....
