I think the hardest part is finding a white dress that looks like a virgin could wear it. We had that problem with our daughter. Just about everything is low cut and off the shoulders.

I am not talking about people coming fromthe world. I teach a class of kids and most are long term church kids...
I cannot remember Brother Alvear ever telling someone what color to wear...Most cases they have come to us and told us what color they were going to wear!
I think judgement begins at the house of God...If you come from the world it is a whole different story than working with young ones that know very little about the world.
and that is so true "Prevention is worth a pound of cure..." saves a lot of tears later on...

Monkey Dude, that wasn't my point. It seems if the dress is to represent virginity than why not have it designed to reflect that in the first place?

Right. I wore a peach lace dress and had the sleeves lined.

Bro. Epley, I understand where you're coming from...kind of...but I just don't think that wearing white on the wedding day is really going to change things in the long run. If you have a couple that is committing fornication, then will they have a problem lying about it so they can wear the white garb?
Then those who confessed their sins and repented are forced to wear the scarlet letter? That doesn't add up, really.
