The Godhead view is not a heaven or hell issue. Both sides have flaws with their theologies.
You have a complete inability to post within the topic of the thread don't you? Hope you carry on verbal conversations differently.....
George: Hey, did you see that storm last night?
Frank: Sure did, was incredible with the thunder and lightning.
George: It was something else... and that rain... man did it come down.
TV1A: Ham Biscuits are good.
Frank and George: Huh?

and that red car drove up the hill too slow to catch the rainbow from the pig flying over the airport to the ferris wheel in June when the rain was coming down on the table for the shock of the people assembled in the front yard!!!!!!!

Getting back on topic... Bishop Jakes silence is actually deafening in this case. He is ready to have his pic taken with Mr. Obama all the time, attend White House functions, and be part of the inner circle when it comes to advisement.
If he in fact advised Mr. Obama that taking this stand is wrong, and Mr. Obama is rebelling against that wise and godly counsel, then Bishop Jakes should say something.... not to necessarily publicly admonish the president, but to at least not let anyone presume he is complicit with the stance of the President.
This is a great place to think of the verse, don't let you good be evil spoken of.....Bishop Jakes needs to say something.
I agree, the timing is political, but the views are his or he wouldn't have stated them, AND thrown in his young daughters for effect.
And if I am wrong, then again, our president is a liar...to say that "this is what I believe" when it is not is a lie.
I stopped short of branding him a liar because it is quite possible that he believed this all along, but just never told the world. This is why I stated that I did not think it was a new belief. If he believes that ...what's it to me? I didn't vote for him and am not going to vote for him this year.
I surely would not bring any of my family into the political arena though.
