Oh my goodness, all you "yankees" (north georgia) posting for Ga...
Someone from the "south" needs to represent
I was born in Fitzgerald, Ga (south central) and raised in Albany, Ga (southwest) and the country of Crisp county (watermellon capital).

Someone asked if anything good come out of Georgia--well,
I was away for a while, but came back. or

No I'm sorry. I'm not familar with that name. I attended Frst UPC Sis Alice Sheppard pastor. Her son Bro. Harold Sheppard is pastor there now.
I've not lived there since the late 70's and visted rarely. We moved to TX then up here to AK in 1990. Columbus is still my roots though.

Sorry you feel this way about GA. Not sure I would ever live there again,but I do miss it and would love to visit more.

Small world. They both grew up in that church. I love the Sheppards. I went to youth camps with Bro. Harold Sheppard's children.

It sure is a small world. I have known all them since my teens (61). Met my husband there. He was stationed at Ft. Benning.
We moved to TX before they all grew up. You probably know the Blizzard's also. Love the folks in Columbus church.

I know the Blizzards. He was pastoring in Augusta, Georgia. I assume they are still there. Their son-in-law (April's husband) preaches for my dad some.
