I had rather hear a preacher say "I seen" if he has really seen something than to hear him say "I saw" if hasn't ever seen anything! TF Tenney about 1970.

No one has had more one-liners than TF Tenney...and they're actually constructive. In fact, there's a book titled, "Keeping the Main Thing the Main Thing" that has his stuff in it.

I've heard of his book. I've never read it. I wasn't raised UPC, so some of these people, who I respect, are not as endearing to me as they are to others who post here.

As you may guess, I have no affection for the UPC or much of anything it stands for. But I'd listen to TF Tenney any time I ever could. I've never heard that much come out of one person. (side note: I wouldn't walk next door to hear his son)
