Then how can they be workers of lawlessness?

As a teen I was told this was about the trinitarians.
But, many don’t even receive the Holy Ghost, they learn “prayer talk.”
It is proven over and over again that they falsify miracles.
So,..!?

Re: Chris reed joins the ministry elite
I will add, many don’t even pray in Jesus’ name. They pray in the name of the F, S, Hg.

Wonderful works were the least of Jesus, and His followers' job description.
Obedience to God's word is first and foremost. The disciples forbade an individual who was casting out demons in Jesus name. But the individual was not a follower of Jesus. Jesus doesn't even deal with the issue of the performing miracles in His name. Jesus brings up the fact if someone is doing a wonderous work in His name it hinders the individual from speaking evil against Jesus. The man or women would have no credibility to accuse Jesus of being false, if they are doing miracles in His name.
Mark 9:38-39
And John answered him, saying, Master, we saw one casting out devils in thy name, and he followeth not us: and we forbad him, because he followeth not us. But Jesus said, Forbid him not: for there is no man which shall do a miracle in my name, that can lightly speak evil of me.
Here is an example in Matthew 12:24-27
But when the Pharisees heard it, they said, This fellow doth not cast out devils, but by Beelzebub the prince of the devils. And Jesus knew their thoughts, and said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand: And if Satan cast out Satan, he is divided against himself; how shall then his kingdom stand? And if I by Beelzebub cast out devils, by whom do your children cast them out? therefore they shall be your judges.
Jesus tells the Pharisees that if He was using the name of a demon to cast out demons. Then what name was the Pharisees' children casting the demons out?
Miracles were not the indicator of obedience to God. The Egyptian magicians are proof of that.
Matthew 16:4
A wicked and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given unto it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas. And he left them, and departed.
The power of the Gospel, the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ.
Jesus warned them against looking for the supernatural instead of the sign of Messiah.

Let me add this, I believe in the supernatural, signs and wonders.
I just don't believe they qualify a true man of God. Jesus did say you'll know a tree from is fruit.

I'll be down in Vidor, TX at Bro. Matthew Tuttle's church sometime in December. I do not know where you're located, for some reason I have Louisiana as the location just not sure if I'm mixing you up with another. If it works, it would be an honor.

Let’s meet in Broken Bow or Texarkana. You keep trying to make me a Texican or a Lousyanian. It’s about two plane tickets and an Uber for me to get to Vidor. I’d probably be better off coming to Salt Lake.

Obviously then the supernatural is not always through obedience.
What is interesting about these characters described by Jesus is they do these miraculous and supernatural things in His Name. Yet they are workers of iniquity (lawlessness). What is also interesting is they CLAIM to be doing these supernatural things, but are they really? Or is that just what they believe? The text seems to indicate they actually believe they have done miraculous and wonderful works, so apparently *something* was going on that to them appeared miraculous and supernatural.
But in any event, they are shown the door, because even though they profess to be Christians and that Jesus is their Lord it is only lip service, they do not actually obey Him, they are practitioners of lawlessness. A lot of strange things happen in life, weird stuff goes on all the time. But one thing we can be sure of, the only ones entering into Life are those who actually obey God's commandments.

Adultery, scandals, divorce and an explosive ministry, the world has never recovered from...
“They drove me away from the Church Because I was divorced.”
-Kathryn Kuhlman
In one occasion, Kathryn Kuhlman was preaching in a church and someone informed the pastor that she was divorced which led the pastor walking up to the front and grabbing the microphone from her and apologizing to the crowd for having a “false prophet” preaching, she was escorted by the ushers out of the church and ran off town. She wept!
On a rare occasion where Kathryn would address her past she made this comment about her peers during her crisis. “... You know sometimes it’s a thousand times easier to die physically than to keep on living. You see, the Lord forgives, but people don’t.
They’ll drive it in, and they’ll drive it in, and they’ll drive it in, and they’ll drive it in. And they’ll pierce your heart, and they’ll pierce it clear through.
Kathryn Kuhlman died! This was her popular phrase, she would go on to say, it was the price she paid for the glory.
Kathryn remembers vividly the days she died to and carried God's glory.
"It’s much easier to die than to live, death to the flesh and the opinions of this world, that very day at the end of that dead-end street is when I died at four, on a saturday afternoon.
Today, I feel it was part of God’s perfect will for my life.”
For Kathryn Kuhlman, her greatest anointing began to manifest from 49-59 years.
In those days, she walked past people and they collapsed to the floor because of the heavy presence of the Holy Spirit she carried. Healings and strange miracles never before recorded accompanied her ministry till death.
Even through Kathryn Kuhlman was out of public ministry for almost 8 years, when she hit the platform again, the glory of the latter house surpassed the former.
Suddenly all the churches that attacked her because of her divorce, opened their arms wide like they weren’t the ones that almost drove her into suicide.
The anointing was always there. All it needed was activation and constant use. God’s grace is irreversible. He does not change His mind about what He gives, He’s not two-faced. Your perspective or mindset about Him may change, but He does not.
So many have may have left ministry because of one thing or the other, you may have stopped pastoring, holding meetings or whatever form of ministry because of pressures, financial, marital or personal issues, but know that God uses these pressures to bring out His best in us.
Apostle Paul says: we are pressed on every side but not crushed, cast down but not destroyed. The promise always comes after the process.
From Kathryn’s example, we have learned that no one is far too gone, no one is out of God’s use, and instead of driving the word of God against people that are under pressure, let’s help them heal. Let’s get them back on track. Handle that brother or sister with care. God does not just want some individual spiritual giants, He wants to build His body! God is not just interested in your denomination, He wants to build His Church!
HER LAST MEETING..
As everyone left the auditorium, Kathryn walked quietly to the end of the stage. She raised her head and slowly scanned the balcony, as if she was gazing at every seat. It seemed like an eternity. Then, Kathryn dropped her gaze to the second balcony, following every row and every seat with her eyes. Then, she looked at the ground floor, studying every seat.
We can only imagine what was going through Kathryn's mind, the memories, the victories, the healings, the laughter, and the tears. Was it possible that Kathryn knew she would never return to the platform? Was it possible that, at that moment, she said good-bye to her earthly ministry?
In just a little over three weeks from that date, Kathryn passed on into glory in the Hillcrest Medical Center of Tulsa, Oklahoma, after open-heart surgery.

I must’ve missed this post.
Chris was married, divorced, and remarried. Committed adultery against his second wife. Maybe his next FaceBook post will be about Earl Paulk?

Re: Chris reed joins the ministry elite
Maybe I don't know the answer to the infidelity problem, but I'm guessing it's true discipleship in small groups with time spent together, teaching biblical principles and accountability. You can't do this seeing someone once or twice a week. And it's difficult to undo the extreme brain washing of the world's education, culture, and entertainment system.
Like someone said, it's the people who are supporting this behavior and keeping these ministries in power positions.
People who can't discern a false prophet, or know the qualifications for ministry, or basic issues of right and wrong.
