Cast out devils and you will know the kingdom of God is come. Displace satan, IOW. Preach the need for people to be true vessels of the Spirit's work.

Remedial revelation??? .... His Spirit in us, Brother Blume ... is the same that is in the little children ... we all ABIDE IN HIM ...
those in Him move into new dimensions depending on many factors.

We need revelation of what degree His Spirit is in us. Brother, Paul told us to KNOW, RECKON and then YIELD. God's people get destroyed for lack of knowledge.
And I think we do NOT ABIDE IN HIM without conscious reliance on the Spirit. I believe that when Jesus said, "Abide in me and I in you," he was showing how that OUR reliance upon Him will in turn cause Him to flow through us like sap (His Spirit) in a branch from a vine. I know people who do not bear fruit, although they have been saved. Why? They do not abide in Christ. "Abide in me" is a command.
We do not abide in Him simply because we have His Spirit, otherwise all the saints would ever manifest fruit. Paul taught Romans 6 to people who were not manifesting.
When we "get" Romans 6's teachings, we experience revelation. And revelation changes us.
2Co 3:18 KJV But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

I am not trying to fight y'all about this. Just so you know. It's just my view on the issue, and I respect your's, too.

I agree that we can be in Christ and not abide in Him .. my point is that "little children"/new believer .. can abide in Him too.
Futhermore, little children, was a term of endearment not to show position.

I think it was to show both spiritual maturity level and endearment. Little children, young men and fathers.
Anyone can abide in Him! Abiding in Him is reliance on Him for things too many rely upon themselves for -- the power to live righteously.

I don't think it is in all cases ... it is mainly a term of endearment .... especially here ....
1 John 2;28 Now, little children, abide in Him, so that when He appears, we may have confidence and not shrink away from Him in shame at His coming.
John uses it throughout his epistles ... these men believe in the priesthood of all believers

I think we He abides in us ... and we abide in Him ... there is perfect/complete fellowship or communion. ... not necessarily perfection in every act and deed we do ... not as long as we're in this flesh.
