Re: Sleepless in Texas

Dear Lord, Just me again. I have a favor to ask of you. Would you please heal Sis. Alvear. Good workers are difficult to find and she has so much more work to do. Please heal her heart...make it new and better than before. You are the only one we can trust to do this heart transplant...

That is all I am asking for tonight. Please honor her faithfulness.
In Jesus name. AMEN

Re: Sleepless in Texas

Dear Jesus,
Heavenly Father...you are holy. There is no one like you. I thank you and praise you this day for life, breath, family, and friends. You have blessed me so much. I know I am your favorite...the apple of your eye.

Thank you for your broad shoulders, your comforting hug, and all the love you give me. You know I just eat it all up. I need it from you.

Just wanted you to know how much I love you. I ask that you send your angels to guard and protect me through the night...station one in every corner of my apartment and Jesus, would you look in on me tonight?

Thank you Jesus for adopting me...you wanted me.

Good night Jesus.

Your loving daughter,
Rhonda

Re: Sleepless in Texas

Dear Jesus,
You're so holy. Lord, you are so rightious, there is none like you. I thank you for being the Alpha, and the Omega, the first, and the last.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Lord your will be done in each of our lives.

This evening I am praying for a local Pastor's wife. There is no more hope for her in this life but her hope is and has always been in you. Carry her through where only You and she can go. Give strength and peace to her husband and children and be everything you have promised to be for them in this time of sorrow.

For the friend of mine who is searching for you, and doesn't understand about the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in other tongues...show yourself real to her as she prays...Thank you for the opportunity of our friendship, because there is purpose in everything we do and everyone we meet. Help us to be aware of divine appointments. Let all of your children, who are called by your name be conduits of the Holy Spirit. Use us for your glory.

Lord, I thank you for the healing you are sending in the life or our dear Sis. Alvear. Help her to get the rest she needs, and meet her every need. In Jesus name.

As I lay me down to sleep...please bless my family, keep your hand of protection on Samantha & Tabitha, and bless my children, friends, and church family. Lord. you know the special needs represented here: Nahkoe needs your help and you to move in a special way in her life and that of her children. Sometimes all we have is you...and that is enough.

Lord, bless the orphanage that is VY runs...let many children's lives be touched and many souls saved through her ministry. As Bro. Strange sets out on his journey into South America, go before him, open doors of opportunity for him to be used for your glory...that is his desire...to make a difference, even now. We never retire from your calling, which your word tells us is "without repentance".

For my co-worker who's mom is in critical condition, be with her and the family as they go through life's transitions. For my friend who takes care of her mother with Alzheimers, Lord they both belong to you. Give them both rest in their body, and give Mom peace in her mind. We trust and believe you will be there through every situation and your peace abide there.

Lord, there is much more for us to talk about...and we will, but for now...I thank you up front for all you are doing, and all the prayers you have answered.

I love you Jesus.

Good night.

I appreciate your thoughts but maybe there is a good reason for making it public. Have you ever thought about the many people that truly don't know how to pray that need an example?

Also, I don't know about your church or your prayer meetings...but most people I am around pray out loud when in a group. Also, we have many prayer requests that come across this forum and all we have is someone's "I'm praying"...are they really? Can you truly trust that? This way, when I say I am praying for you...you know it.

Dimples, I am not stupid and would not make public anything that has not already been made public on this forum...although I understand your concern. This is my night prayers which is better than threads of daily gossip, is it not?

Blessings, Rhoni

Re: Sleepless in Texas

Oh how I love thy law and thy precepts my God. Thank you for preachers who can teach and impart your word, the depths of your word in language that we can understand and apply to our every day lives.

Lord, I thank you for this day, for your blessing and favor on the job, and for your protection on the highways of Texas. Thank you for family, and friends.

Jesus I ask that you bless my grandchildren and my children tonight. Let them feel your love and know your protection.

In Jesus name.

Good night...I love you Lord.

Great Lord God,

I am agreeing with Sis. Rhoni for every person named in this prayer and
Lord, for others that have been mentioned before. YOU see each one and
YOU, who knows the number of hairs on each of our heads, NEVER forgets
each one that is needing salvation, healing, encouragement or a friend.
YOU are the MOST WONDERFUL Father in the world. You care for each of
Your children and love us all the same! Thank You for Your love, mercy and
compassion to us all, in Jesus Name!

Thankful,

Falla39
