Re: Rev George L Pike

It is apparent that you have a deep respect for your father, that is admirable! From your testimony he was a good man, may God bless you.

Re: Rev George L Pike

I discovered Little Bethlehem this weekend. The buildings architecture is amazing. I am curious as to why in the main house there are several doors and random stairs everywhere, some leading to nowhere. there is also a large house inside the main house, about 10x10. anyone know anything about it? also, is this place still having services or is it vacant?

Several doors: probably in case of fire. Every building is required to have two exits in case of fire.

Re: Rev George L Pike

I spent some childhood years in Little Bethlehem. Pastor Pike lived in a nice place and took large trips while most of his congregation lived in extreme poverty. The people that lived there were in broken down trailers while he lived lavishly. This is not how my Jesus of Nazareth spoke to treat others. Or to lead his sheep. I remember a lot of people being excluded or excommunicated. If you listen to his sermons, he does often infer that he is a little god. Which is totally out of the truth of God's word. The one thing I can say I took away from this experience was my childhood faith in God has brought me to salvation as an adult. Jesus can meet you anywhere even in an a cult. The place was very cult like. So many rules and regulations.

Re: Rev George L Pike

He really preached some off the wall stuff. And permitted his congregation to think he was God.

Re: Rev George L Pike

the part about being gods come from Psalm 82:6 I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High also ppl say o ppl lived so poor out there and he travel he travel for god around the world he didnt take peoples money he preached on preachers taken ppls money also people being kick out of the church no he preached so hard they wouldnt come back he could pick up devils like brother branham did also he had rules out there like god had rules for churches if u didnt wanna live holy then u didnt have to live there thats the rules god requires preachers to set rules most churches now days are false because they let uncleaness in churches saying we are all sinners well the bible does say god doesnt answer sinners prayers John 9:31 Now we know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth his will, him he heareth.
