Read on Newsmax that some establishment repubs are panicking and trying to run Romney again.
I liked Romney, and I wouldn't have minded him running again. But if he were to do so under these circumstances simply as a shill it'd cheapen the man and be a shot at a large percentage of the base.
Let the best man win, be it Trump, Carson, Cruz or Rubio.
I don't know if any can beat Hillary. No one was beating Obama in 08 or 12 because the dems got the uniformed voters out in mass. Maybe the same next year. But let it stand or fall on its own. I don't think Romney would beat Hillary. I think Rubio can, Carson or Trump maybe but a long shot. Cruz an even longer ........ (though he would dismantle her in debates--but the America public wouldn't care).
Even though I don't agree with JD much at all in politics, I do think Rubio is the only one who can beat Hillary. But I hope I'm wrong. I'd take Fiorina or Kasich over Hillary (and I can't stand them) but I just don't see it the way people get their info (Facebook memes are the main means of info for most).

lol, only the informed are republican have fun with those comforting thoughts.
The only republican I see a real chance of losing the national election is Cruz and yet all those informed republicans may just give the Dems the keys for another 4 years.

Re: Republican Debate - 11/10/15
We lose when we run establishment type, centrist candidates. Romney, McCain, Dole, and GHW Bush were establishment, moderate Republicans. We need a Reagan conservative.

But we can make the case that Reagan was a moderate, because he got a lot of votes from independent and traditional democrat voters. He was able to appeal to a large base. That's probably harder for a republican to do now. The further right a candidate gets the more polarizing they become. It's a fine line to walk. That's just the reality of it. Maybe Cruz can pull it off.

Ted Cruz's plus is that when he promises to do something, he follows through.

Didn't Obama promise a bailout and Obamacare? Seems like he's done both of the major things he's promised...

Trump and Cruz reek of vinegar.
Carson's character is being assassinated by the media on a daily basis now.
Rubio is a common sense Republican.

Marco Rubio’s staffers seem to understand that this race is likely to boil down to a race between their employer and Ted Cruz, the senator from Texas. As a result, they apparently feel the need to smear their guy’s main rival.

I'm not saying that only the informed vote Republican, but that the Democratic party thrives by banking on the uninformed voter. That's their base. That and people who do not hold to a Biblical worldview and traditional values. At least the uniformed vote democrat out of ignorance, the others do so with eyes wide open to infanticide, abomination & perversion, socialism, etc.
