The Fullness of God (the 7 Spirits)
Love (The Spirit of the Lord): God is love: and love is an active force and cannot lay dormant: it has to be articulated; expressed. It requires harmony and fellowship, and is the greatest motivating force of creation. It expressed itself perfectly… in man.
Wisdom: energy that unfolds love. It sets everything in order, and to its best advantage
Understanding: corresponds to obedience. Has God ever needed to obey? Yes! He needed to obey his attributes (spirits); else, he could not be God.
Counsel: God’s purpose and advise is not surmising; but He considers all his attributes to arrive at a righteous conclusion.
Might: all power and might is in God’s hands. He first revealed himself to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob as :God Almighty”: the ONE who has all power.
Knowledge: God is omniscient. He had a preconceived knowledge of the beginning and ending of all creation: and has created all things according to his predestination.
Fear of the Lord: That part of God that hates evil.
The 7 spirits of God are found in
Isaiah 11:3 That is only my understanding of what I believe the Prophet wrote. Also, I believe there are three reasons why a man would speak, or write, publicly. (1) to teach and preach; (2) to be corrected; or (3) to be heard. I believe I can still learn.
