I understand that you are saying however he did this, he did it bypassing Congress. All executive orders bypass Congress.

They have the legal authority to knock that slap down if they choose to. So...why aren't they?

It is a good question. Why isn't our Senators and Representatives doing anything about this? They are the lawmakers, not the president.

Remember though, Congress has been trying to pass an amnesty bill during the Teddy Kennedy years and could not.

Well, I just listened to a news source that confirms what Bro Robbins is saying. Even though the original article said this was done by executive order, the journalist I listened to said it was a complicated thing, but it cannot be classified as an "executive order". She had no words for what to call this act by BHO.

I haven't changed my position in that I feel these people are in limbo. Something really should be done for them, but our government makes a mess out of anything they try to do. We would hope that giving them some status would not be the camel getting his nose under the tent in regards to more illegal immigration.
