What is a wardriver? There are several people around me who have left their wireless internet open. I wasn't even aware until so many people came over with their laptops and always got online at my house..
My son took his laptop and walked alllllll the way down the block and was picking up our internet service. The phone guy happened to be over that day and we put a block on it. I'm not paying for all of my neighbors to hook up to my service. If I have to pay, so do they! Bah-Humbug! LOL!

Securing it is more in your interests than just not sharing with the nieghbors.
You don't know what the folks next door or the car along side the road is downloading. Could be pirated music, movies or software or even very bad illegal things that the FBI track and arrest people over.
Even if they aren't downloading, you sit there wondering why your connection is moving at a crawl, it is because the person next door is catching up on the episodes of "24" he missed.
Never run an open wifi network unless your name is "Starbucks"

Log into their shared folder and delete all their files, that'll fix 'em
hey, now my boss told me that the average person isn't smart enough to access anything on my computer. They wouldn't find anything but pics anyway. lol

ohh... I use Pandora radio alot. hmmmm otherwise, we are on facebook and myspace.
I tell ya whose internet I would really like to bum off of....the Comcast cable guy on the other side of me. I bet he has the best there is... or at least knows how to get the best. I'm sure his is the secured Comcast network... There are several two wires open too, but signal isn't as strong.
