Well the Pastor is unnamed as is the church right? So let's discuss this as a hypothetical.

I'd gladly buy soap and other stuff...and Im on disability. I have extra clothes they might use too. I am always giving away clothes that no longer fit etc etc..nice stuff. And you can get some good stuff at the thrift store...clean! If they have a shower maybe they can have a washing machine...or maybe someone can volunteer to take all their old clothes and wash them.

Yes but that is beside the point I made...is the church named? Is the Pastor named? If not then we can discuss such a pastor whether it is true or not, because we are discussing an attitude really and not a specific Pastor because they are not named

I've always wished we as a church here had enough property and money to build several bungalos to house people temporarily and have a program to get them on their feet...mail box, showers, phone service. Have simple rules about looking for a job, attending church..have a dorm person over them. We have a halfway house now, but the people that go there pay for their rent. Id like to see something for people that are not only homeless but to have shelters in case someone in church is suddenly left homeless

Dan, have you ever listened to that message I posted by Stoneking? To me it's always been one of his best and one of the best I have ever heard of any preacher. He talks about this church that was bringing in a bunch of homeless people and building a church on it. I also remember bro Mallory talking about how the church in PI Manila started with peeople that lived in the dump

HE preached a series at the Ark campmeeting once...does anyone have them?
