umm... yeah... you shouldn't talk about what you do not know of...
There has only been one oneness rock band that I've seen that wasn't super local (read: one band that played outside of thier own church) and they don't exist anymore...

Some people complain about the gimmicks of tv preachers. TV gimmicks pale in comparison to the gimmicks by tent revival carnies. There are horror stories and scams documented by the dozens about tent revival preachers.

and 60 years ago a bunch of people going crazy speaking in tongues like we do in ours services was wierd, no one had ever seen it... It was like a sideshow that you ended up joining in by the end of the night and being converted...
But nowadays EVERYONE HAS SEEN WHAT WE DO!! It happens in a large number of churches. Speaking in Tongues holds no awe in the eyes of anyone anymore because so many people do it and so many churches have it happen in them...
We can't just put a tent up and expect people to show up like we used to, because the spectacle of the tent is no longer there... There is nothing new happening in the tent, everyone's seen one and everyone's been in a revival like that...

I mean, is there something inherently wrong with a love song? I don't see why... I mean when we have weddings people sing love songs and everyone seems to be ok with that.....
Also, you picked a really bad time to rip on rock and roll, because the bands at the concert I mentioned (well, other than eleventyseven and decyfer down who I know very little about 'cuz they were 10 minute long openers) are some of ht emost ministry-minded bands in Christian Music...
SDS doesn't barely play concerts ANYWHERE... the only reason they exist is to get people to listen to the testimony of thier lead singer... that's it... To reach people with his testimony through getting people's attention with thier good music....
and the others are awesome... I could talk for an hour about how awesome Skillet is alone... so I won't...
I don't know... I just don't get the objection to music that isn't worship when it doesn't claim to be... There is no indication anywhere in the Scriptures that songs that were just songs didn't exist (I'd assume that, at minimum, they played songs that weren't worship in weddings in Jewish culture)...
and you weren't calling them as you saw them.. You didn't see anything, you just assumed and judged people when you knew nothing about them and nothing about what happened... Which is absolutely something the Bible tells us not to do.

Wait a minute, those bands are not leading anyone to anything other than themselves. They are NOT preaching the Gospel, they are teaching people the Trinity, and then we have to straighten out what they messed up.
The lead singers testimony? Testimony of what? How he got rehabilitated?
AA, and NA also has stories of rehabilitation, but it's not through the water way in Jesus name.
American Christianity is in a mess and that kind of ministry is making it worse.

wow... I pray that God delivers you from the hate and judgementalism that you show in this post... Because those things are just as sinful as fornication or lying or anything else... and those attitudes will not make it into heaven...
And his testimony is a lot more involved than that...
and, honestly, by and large most trinitarians aren't believing anything wrong... There are exceptions, yes, but most trinitarians, when you get to the core of what they believe about God, believe the same thing we are...
and those bands don't direct anyone to themselves (another example of your vile judgemental attitude), they all direct everyone they come into contact with to Christ...

seriously, you need to go pray and get rid of this attitude... and I need to go before I get myself banned because I can only bite my tongue for so long when people spout off stupid judgemental nonsense about people they know nothing about...

how many have I been to? I've been in the church since I was 11, so in 13 years I've been to a ton of revivals in multiple churches and the same thing always happens... 5 people TOPS get saved and everyone acts like this great thing happened and pretends 3,000 got saved just like in the Bible...
but it wasn't just like the Bible...

I'm done, that is what I love about Pentecost. Everyone is a know-it-all.
Where have you been dude, have you traveled out of Wee-Patch and been anywhere else in America or the world? You blast me for my opinion, and then you make a judgement concerning your own experience during 13 years around one location? Good job and right on.
