The only weddings I have ever done where non-churched folks and all of them have broken up.
Maybe the next ones I marry will stick it out.

When I got married I was asked to not wear white--I had gotten pregnant. At that time I was young and it really didn't matter to me--I just wanted to get married! But now--it bothers me that I was told I wasn't ALLOWED to wear what I wanted.
If I would have not gotten pregnant and then waited a year or so and hid that I had been a fornicator, I could have wore a white wedding dress and no one would have been the wiser. It is something between the bride, groom, and God.

Serious??? The wedding tradition of a virgin bride is the white dress is it not? No one even cares about how the groom looks, he is lost on HER day? Isn't that what we always hear? Did anyone come to me on my wedding day and say, "Wow Monkey, how lovely and beautiful you look today!""" Umm, no, what I heard was, "You lucky dog!" When the tradition becomes a white tux, then you can have my answer, ok???

I consider myself somewhat hardcore on marriage issues... but I have never heard of this at all. My first thought would be; How do you know she is 'pure'? Seems like there are many gray areas here...

So other than Elder Epley and maybe one or two more, are you saying let them sin, marry as virgins and go our merry way?
Is it really that easy?
I am not known to rock the boat on most subjects but maybe we should read, Why revival tarries...
and I am not known to be a mean spirited person...
Yes, some of mine had trouble along those lines...whatever Brother Alvear has taught he made no difference for our children.

By God, Sister Alvear. By God.
We do need to be accountable to one another, but not in such a way as just to reveal the sins of others, but rather with the intention of helping that person overcome their sin.
Galations 6:1 Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such a one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.
