This witness has flip flopped and is now saying they don't know who was on top. The verdict is not going to decided on witnesses. All of the witness stories have proved to be inconsistent, considering the police took so long to bring charges about the memory of many witnesses is foggy.

It will be interesting to see how this turns out.

There has been so much racist public rhetoric from our President, some of our national legislature, and others like Spike Lee, the Black Panthers, Jessie Jackson, Al Sharpton, etc. I would think the jury pool would be thoroughly poisoned.

Do you think the guy can even get a fair trial?
Racists have already judged him guilty.
Some of us would vote "not guilty" just as a reaction to the racists.

After all the media hoopla, I'm not sure you could find an unbiased person to serve on the jury unless you shipped them in from some mountain in Tibet or the wasteland of Antarctica.

This case is a mess.

Well without media involvement, Zimmerman would not have been charged at all. Can't have it both ways.

Sometimes it takes media attention for the police to do their job and rightfully so considering all the unanswered questions and red flags. Zimmerman is not the first man claiming self defense to be on trial and he won't be the last.

Some of these comments are just unbelievable. George Zimmerman saw himself as a solution looking for a problem, and he found that when he saw that poor boy Trayvon Martin. He murdered that boy to satisfy his ego. All he would have had to do was start waving that gun around and young Mr. Martin would have took off, but no, Mr. Zimmerman didn't want him to run, he wanted an excuse to shoot him and he created one. If Travon Martin had been an unemployed black man in his 40s walking home with a pack of Kools and a 40 oz this case would have never made national news, though the dynamics would have been the same.

And as for Obama? You all out to be praying FOR him, like the BIBLE says to do, you know, "Bless, and curse NOT?" If you would admit your own ignorance of the facts just long enough to consider that maybe, just maybe, you are being manipulated by the so-called "Conservatives" into believing and expressing sentiments that are false as a means of controlling you and ultimately using you to accomplish goals that are contrary to your own interests... but why am I wasting my breathe. Sheep, when pastured with goats for very long will always end up following the goat and ending up the worse for it. Pitiful. Hitler once said, "The bigger the lie, the more people will believe it" and the Republicans are proving that to be true. I mean really, "Obama hates America"?? "Obama is going to take your guns away"?? "Obama is a communist"?? Does anyone seriously believe this non-sense? I am sure that the Republican leadership do not believe it, but they will say it just the same because it is effective. Politics is c-o-m-p-l-i-c-a-t-e-d folks, don't kid yourselves! If you have not studied the subject professionally, and I mean by going to college or somehow getting a job in Washington without doing so, then you are likely ignorant; you might have a deep and profound understanding of the Word of God (which is better by far), but you are ignorant in the area of politics. The Bible does not make you knowledgeable in the arena of politics anymore than it does in the areas of medicine or quantum physics... so pipe down. You don't know what you are talking about. But you ought to recognize vitriol when you hear it, and it is coming out of your own mouths.

I pray for our President and his wife and family plus other national, state, and local leaders on a regular basis. This is my duty according to the way I understand 1 Timothy 2:1-5

I forget the context but one day I was puzzling over who a "good Christian" should side with, the Republicans or the Democrats. I mean since most Christians and psuedo-Christians alike tend to call themselves Republicans I wanted to be on the right side of things, so I asked the Lord and He immediately reminded me of the parable of the man with two sons. You all know the story, one boy said yes but didn't do while the other refused but later changed his mind. And that is where we are today. We have one party that says they will do God's will, but somehow they never do it (unless you consider lowering taxes on rich people a Biblical mandate)... and then we have the other party that says they won't do it at all. We are inclined to see the one that says "yes" as the "good" one, but until one or the other actually obeys the will of God then we cannot wisely choose between them. And that means more than just ending abortion and so-called gay "marriage", it means doing something about Hollywood, and immodest clothing in public places, and cigarettes and alcohol and all the rest of it.

You really should read (and post on) the other *main* George Zimmerman thread. My thoughts about this particular thread and the charge of "molestation" have no bearing on my opinions of the Zimmerman/Martin case. Digging up garbage in GZ's past doesn't make him more or less guilty of murder. On this thread, we're fussing over what constitutes "molestation", essentially. IMO, playing doctor with another kid when you're also a kid is inappropriate behavior, but it doesn't qualify as molestation. The title of this thread is particularly misleading since it makes it seem like the adult man molested a 9 year old girl.
