Re: Vote McCAIN... Let Marriage and Divorce Contin

i find it hurtful that so many who have not suffered the ravages of divorce are so quick to be judgemental and say all these hateful things, i dont know about mccains divorces, but i can stomach that over obamas support of abortion, anyday, dt

by the way, no matter which one of these lame brains get elected, divorce and remarriage will continue, the church needs a dose of compassion, and a little less judgementalism for the hurting in divorce situations, dt

I think you are right that the church needs more compassion in this area, but divorce is not caused by irreconcilable differences. John 10:10 states that the thief comes to kill, steal, and destroy Satan is hell bent on fulfilling this.

There are issues at place that give the devil access and the lack of morality, the lack of morality in legislation, the promulgation of the gay agenda, the increase in pornography, along with people in authority like Mr. Clinton who tells a generation that oral sex is not sex all contribute to what we are facing now.

We need to elect people who will stand (as much as it is possible) for marriage and a moral society. It is horrible that a "Christian nation" as ours kills so many babies!

Unfortunately, McCain's values will strengthen marriage more than Mr. O's.

This logic is so to me as I would imagine that neither are saved. So whose sins are worse? I mean someone eating fruit brought death into the world.

Sin is sin...you have to look at how they will govern, the types of judges they will appoint, and the type of legislation they will put their names to. Who would be more biblically aligned in this manner, not who lives a more perfect life.

good post glory seeker, i agree, choose the best on your governance style, none of the periperial stuff matters to me, no tax hikes and no govt sanctioned abortions, let the states work that out, enough , dt

Obama has confessed to using marijuana and cocaine in the past. But if you listen to these Obama fans, you'd think divorce is the only sin that God hates.

(of course, if it was McCain who had confessed to illegal drug use in the past, these Obama supporters would be a lot less forgiving toward him than they've been toward Obama on that issue..)

Right. Kinda like the compassion a woman who has ever had an abortion would feel if she came around here and read some of these posts about she's a murderer.

Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight. The guy who cheated on his wife will strengthen marriage more than the guy who's never been divorced and never cheated (that we know of). That makes perfect sense. NOT!!
