Re: LapTop Suggestions?
Sorry, Prax, though we share a bit of "computer old timer memories" I gotta go with my MAC buds. I use a DELL at work with VISTA but, I still prefer my MAC. I have the Leopard OS which is so cool. I don't know....I just LIKE it!
Also, as far as service and tech support I have NEVER found better than Apple. I DID have issue with the laptop I bought a year ago and everytime I contacted Apple they did their best to help me. Finally, after the third visit to the Apple Hospital I was given the direct line to a representative who had a brand new laptop (upgraded in speed AND OS) shipped to me from the factory. Have had not one problem with the "new" one.
I had problems with a DELL (friend's computer) several years ago and was on hold for (I'm NOT LYING, put it on speaker so I could move about the house) 4 hours!!! Still no one came to my aid. It took 2 WEEKS to get someone to help and that was a BUSINESS account, think what it might have been with a non business consumer.
Nope, sorry, I think all I will have in the future are "MAC Attacks"! LOL

Im not wrong, you just supported my view. It's the OS. Hardware wise they are the same now.
So for computing power alone I can get what a mac has and maybe cheaper because part of the price is the name
