Scotty is being bossy and so I'm not cooperating. I'm listen to something in another tab and then I'm going to bed. I'm going to walk home to teach Scot-tay a lesson. lol

Funny you should mention weed growing I assume marijuana. One of our neighbors years ago grew weed in their garden along with a few other food plants, I guess hoping to disguise it. Her son turned them in. I got to watch the takedown by the cops. It was hilarious in some ways. They really do make you lay on your stomach arms outstreched, cops yelling orders. Although I did get pulled over by a narcotics officer wondering why I kept driving by. I told him I'm nosy......Not much entertainment in this town.......

Marijuana and I never mixed well in my wild days. Never got into drugs, much. I know someone that smoked a joint and got lost - driving on the main drag.

Wink Re: Garden Fresh Vegetables

The gardens sounds great. Our soil is crummy and my luck growing vegetables was a waste. So I try to go to the farmers market later in the summer.
But I do love my flowers, I spent time outdoors today putting my bedding plants in hanging planters that line the front porch. I also have a few large planters on the porch and bordering the front walkway. I always plant geraniums cuz they're "tough"! Bloom all summer and they can take the heat!

Then I get adventurous and see what's new or on special. I planted a couple clearance dwarf rose bushes in the corner of the yard near the driveway; time will tell.....the leaves look healthy but the flowers have died; who can resist $1 a planter ??

My fingernails are lined with dirt, maybe it's a look that will catch on?
I can't work well wearing gardening gloves.

Perhaps a patio tomato plant would survive?
