If anything, I do like the exchanging of resources. Most of them have pages on Facebook, which is great!

LOL! I haven't always put out everything positive on Rick Perry either. Even though I am strongly leaning toward him, I'm not 100% there yet.

Re: Ron Paul: A Texas Thorn in Rick Perry's Side
It appears that Ron Paul is among 4 GOP-ers to be watching for in Iowa, second behind Cain...

I'm not one to get sea-sick, but this whole upcoming election has been one *ahem* heck of a ride...
I still crack up laughing everytime I see Perry's blunder and watch Paul hand-signal to him, like..."Dude, it's 5, get it right, IT'S FIVE!!!"

It would be nice to see Ron Paul take a win that the press could no longer ignore. All through the candidate things have been happening like...
X Candidate came in first... Y & Z came in 3rd & 4th.
What does that mean? Ron Paul came in 2nd. If people are for him or against him that type of nonsense should never be tolerated. The press should hear a loud outcry.

I completely agree with you. The chemical imbalance in the news media is absolutely disgusting...
I keep thinking of Scott Brown (R-MA) who won a landslide victory back in 2009 after remaining relatively unknown while running against Martha Coakley and Joseph Kennedy, both Dems. I remember Brown being the unspoken-of underdog and how much surprise his sudden spike and victory the news media expressed...
Who knows? Ron Paul might be another Scott Brown victor. We shall see...

Re: Ron Paul: A Texas Thorn in Rick Perry's Side
I have not read this thread but I think Ron Paul is a nut. Libertarians are just as delusional as communist because both concepts never work in reality.
Ron Paul is a very good speaker and says enough truth that he is very appealing on the surface to many. I had to listen to his goofiness a long time ago when I lived in Texas. His supporters always think he is going to break through and get broad support but it just isn't going to happen.
I have never been one of those people to complain about the choices in Republican primaries (although I have complained about the eventual nominee a time or two - Dole and McCain) but this year the viable choices are not all that good.
-I like Rick Santorum but he is going nowhere.
-I like most of what Michelle Bachman stands for but she would not stand a snowballs chance in the general as the press would paint her as a nut.
-Paul Ryan would have been good but did not run.
-I love Newt's mind but in my world he forfeited the right to be President about two wives ago. His last two wives were women he had affairs with while still married to the previous wife. I expect more moral character than that out of the President of the United States. I think he should hold a high position in a Repub admin but not be President.
- Romney is a great speaker and debater and may have the best chance to win the general but I hate that he is a Mormon and I believe he is more of a RINO than a true conservative.
- I thought Perry was going to be my man but what an absolute disaster as a canidate.

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.
"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.
"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

Re: Ron Paul: A Texas Thorn in Rick Perry's Side
Ron Paul would be a lame duck from day one if he were elected. Why the libertarian crowd cannot understand this is beyond me. It wouldn't matter if Paul were elected, none of his "great" ideas would get through the House or Senate. The man is too extreme in almost every aspect of his plans.
So electing him would basically mean nothing got done for 4 years. Yay Ron Paul.
