Case in point. Both Epley and Abiding Now likely reject Mike Blume because he has a beard, is a preterist (and if I remember correctly) doesn't abide by the standards. So even though Blume believes like they do about Acts 2:38 its the hot place for him.

So did you repent? I'm posting on a cell phone using the app therefore I can't see your pic. I do know you used to sport a goatee, which I have no problem with but I know Steve Epley has said he wouldn't even allow a bearded man to be a member of his church much less preach someone with a beard.

I thought that when you were here in Texas Larry Smith dropped standards and you followed suit. Am I misremembering something? So do you now affirm if a woman trims her hair she is going to hell or if a woman wears a bifurcated garment she commits an abomination?

All someone has to do is cross reference this thread with the thread about Epley preaching the Little Rock camp meeting. In that thread he says preterists are lost.

And if you are JRE (I assume you are) you've been pretty vocal about those who don't believe standards with the whole "We Declare" thing and suggesting that anyone who wore shorts was on the slippery slope to all manner of sexual perversion. I have the email if you need to be reminded of your wild statements.

So tell me what words have I put into your mouths? Do you, Steve Epley, and AR pastor affirm that those who have "experienced/obeyed" Acts 2:38 are saved even if they do not abide by holiness standards and/or are preterists?

Do you, SE, and AR believe someone like me is saved because I have repented, been baptized in JN, and spoken in tongues (and kept standards for years) but don't see all of these things as necessary for salvation? I know AR pastor has already called me a reprobate which us pretty serious because when someone is reprobate there is absolutely no hope of salvation for them. I know SE thinks I'm lost as two boys kissing ( though I'm not a trinitarian) and I'm if your JRE you have likewise condemned me strongly on AMF and in private correspondences.

So are you sure I'm putting words in peoples mouths?

I don't think repentance is necessary but some of these guys to. Personally I think we are at liberty to decide if we want a beard or not. I've always been clean shaven. If someone wants to go around looking like Duck Dynasty it may not be my preference but I do think its their right. HOWEVER both you and I know that good men and godly men have ostracized, sat down, or even disfellowshipped simply for having facial hair.

Secondly, if you don't affirm a woman can't trim her hair and can wear bifurcated garments then you don't keep the standards.
