KP,
The name thing is my fault. Apparently I was brain dead when I wrote my first post in this thread and remembered his name as "DePew" rather than "Perdew". I did not intentionally mangle his name.
As far as the spitting incident goes to the best of my recollection it was never "debunked" on the forum. There were just conflicting stories of what happened. Some that conflicted were by folks who were actually all there and other posts about it were second hand accounts. Some proclaimed DP's innocence and said he "accidently" happened to spit on the woman while he was berating the host church for videotaping the service while others there felt it was intentional.

Isn't Depew the one who spit on a pastor's daughter during a message because she was holding a VCR camera ???

Well folks - it's time for bath. Are'nt ya glad you use Dial? Spitting can now have charges leveled against one. There are alot of communicable diseases out there...

Subjective standards are not important. Principles are always important.

Can we PLEASE not go back to the whole Perdew thing again? That was a LONG time ago and doubtless many spiritual alterations to all along the way.

I spent some time trying to find the post where it was, in my opinion, "debunked." Nevertheless, at this point, I will defer to Steadfast's request and let it drop -- dependent upon everyone else's willingness to do the same.

I mean, look at all those who leave the UPCI for reasons of "standards" - within a month or two they all look just exactly alike.........same dress........same hairstyles.......so forth and so on........
Look at those who go to certain meetings.......BOTT for example.......most of them tend to attempt to dress with certain flare..........
Those who make up certain sects of the Pentecostal Movement tend to lean the same way in the way they look and in what they preach........
It is not just us either........Renda and Thad just went to a huge conference in TN and we got pics of the hats.........clones........
I would be careful in the clone talk........because in all reality we all are clones.........now as for me I want to be HIS clone.........

That by itself is a good reason to be in the World Wide Pentecostal Fellowship. I’d rather be a clone with good standard of holiness.
