The only time I hear it is in certain songs and by the older crowd who grew up hearing it in church
once upon a time.
It IS part of the official vocabulary though like: Movie house, mixed bathing, honky tonk (a term about as old as bobbed hair), and lastly
video or
Hollywood to describe any sort of motion picture.
