To reply to the original post, I don't feel that way, but I do understand it.
IMO, it has a lot to do with personality. Some people like certain things, some don't. Also has something to do with your own personal experiences. There are parts of the whole thing that I don't like, but the good outweighs the bad for me.

How many of our families will make way too much food tomorrow? But the list is narrowed to the 47 items that we MUST have every year.
Hours... even days... will be put in to create a grand scene with all the memorable dishes from the past... too many... but we can't leave this one out or that one out because we've always had them and then.... in 15 minutes everyone is miserable and wondering what we're going to do with all this food and why we do this to ourselves every year.
It's funny really... and a little sad. |

I lie not...
I was just in the other part of the house and my kids TV was on. A show was starting and they were singing about "The little lamb that has lots to learn" and they shouted... It's Timmy Time.
