Consider this passage.
Hebrews 1:8-9
8) But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.
9) Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.
This passage is about Christ. Christ shall surely rule forever and ever. He is even referred to as God here. In the next passage this same Christ which was referred to as God, is referred to as having a God. Will Christ rule as King because he is God or because of his subjection to God? This passage suggests that the Son who rules has a God. But, God has no God. So, it seems that Christ's rule will not be through his deity.
