Re: Managing the younger generation is a real chal

People many times lie when the truth would suit them better...many times the lie comes back over and over to haunt the person even thought the truth got out...the person will be remembered for lying...

You know we deal a lot with it in church work....couples mess up...ask you to marry them...pose as virgens before the holy alter of God and have a baby in 6 months...lol...then wonder and even get mad when people talk or ask questions...

WE ALL at some point may tell a lie not intending for it to be a lie but to lie to cover up like Renda just told us about is a pattern...

You are right Sis. Alvear. I had the feeling she might have this problem, but had not been able to pinpoint it to confirm it. Well, this was so extravagant that it was easy to confirm and now makes me doubt everything else she has said or done.

Like I told her, I'm willing to put this behind us and move forward, but I also told her it will take a while to build the trust between us now.

If she changes, you may end up with the best worker you have ever had. Have you prayed for her?

I have not, but I will. I've just been praying to keep my HG!

We had another "Come to Jesus" talk last year and when I asked her if she had any questions or comments about what we discussed she said, "my mom would agree with everything you just said and be glad you talked to me about it."

I knew I'd said the right things.

That incident she was insubordinate toward me and I should have written her up for that, but was giving her a chance.

Re: Managing the younger generation is a real chal

Sounds like several of the people who work for me! I had an employee forge a "doctor's note" on a piece of memo paper, in his own handwriting.

RGCraig, I wish you worked for me-I need some supervisors like you who can look into things. Good for you!

It does seem to happen here more with people under 40, and more the younger they get, but I've also seen it quite a bit in people that are older. Three of my worst lying employees are over 40, and two of those are over 50. And several of my problem employees have asked me to hire their kids-ha!

I remember her!!!! Good luck with that one!

Must be watching too many movies and living in a dream world. Maybe they think the end will work itself out regardless of their actions. lol

Nope, been down that road.

COGIC is not Apostolic.

Close, but their doctrine on baptism is based on an error.

When it comes to dating, the next lady will have a CRYSTAL CLEAR UNDERSTANDING on the importance, the essentiallity of baptism in the Name of Jesus Christ.

Bpatism in Jesus Name is one of my convictions.
Others can do what they want and I'll accept them as they are. But I've drawn the line at baptism in Jesus Name.

Being single isn't so bad, most nights, anyway.

LOL! Well, look at it this way - you can do whatever you want whenever you want!

Yeah like drive to Jackson & Memphis, TN!!!
And then on to Orlando, FL to decide, "Today, I will start living here!!"

Being single does have its perks.

Being single DOES NOT negate the need for cash however. In fact, it accentuates it.
