I guess that some of you here on AFF don't really have much choice.

Any thoughts or opinions?

If I retire someday no doubt that will happen to me I see no problem I have made my mistakes then I will watch someone make theirs. Wouldn't bother me in the least.

A child shall lead them!

I am fine with any age as long as they are in the will of God!

Well lets see...I'm almost 56. My pastor is 34...and he is the best pastor I have ever had. (The other three were all older.)

Age is rarely the issue. The question is, will he lead with a scepter, a sword, or a towel?

So, I assume you have some scars from the sword, bruises from the scepter and the balm of Gilead from the towel?

It's amazing to me when you stop and think about it the wonderful saints of God who are led by young and relatively inexperienced men who will work with them, cooperate with them pray for them and put up with mistakes they make it's truly amazing.

It's also true that there are younger men who are wiser, more studious and better leaders than some of the older.

All I have to say is that every one of us, if we live long enough, will have to submit to a pastor, doctor, lawyer, pharmasist, teacher, insurance agent, and on and on that is younger than us...the other option is to die before you get that old....(probably about 65)...
