I don't time to really go into all the detail. But, for about 2 months I had been asking God for a real Experience!
When I came to I was in the Pastors study.(After the fall, or collapse of the stage).
My blood pressure had fallen, and my shoulders were hurting. They had stopped the production for the moment.
But, what was really funny about the whole thing was, they couldn't tell what was real blood, and what was not.
I overheard the producer say they were going to do the last song, and it would be over. Keep in mind that the last song is "The Power of Pentecost".
I leaned over and asked the director," How can we have Pentecost without the resurrection?"
I asked if I could come out of the tomb, then they could sing the last song. They said, "Thats your call, your Jesus"
So remember at the begining, I said I wanted God to move in my life. Now keep in mind, I am not talking about rolling in the floor, flopping like a fish, running around the church, etc...
I had been in the ministry since 92. Seen God do a lot of things through my ministry, part of a great church, evangelist for a few years. God was just Good. But, I wanted to meet him face to face.
That night when I walked out of the tomb. Words can not explain it. I stood there speechless, and in the presence of God!
People of all Faiths, were in the aisles praying and having the greatest Experiance I have ever seen or felt.
And trust me. I have been to ever kind of meeting, conference, seminar, or whatever!
I would not trade that night on the cross for nothing! I might not be Jesus. But, he showed me a little piece of himself.
One night down two to go! Quite full house, even with 90 in the cast, and many church folks not in attendace.
Serious request pease pray for my throat, I think I am going into strep... and losing my voice.
thanks!

Powerup - that really is a great story (even if painful!)
Please try to get us the clip. I would love that!

Ironic, I start this thread... well tonight it got ugly - I lost my voice...
I am wearing a mic and have scaled back - eliminating voice in any unscripted speaking, shouting mob/crucifiction scenes.
I have had a fever for five days (103) but have been holding it at bay with Tylenol. I think it is strep now and my voice not much over a whisper.

Five days with 103 fever, Stephen? You shouldn't go more than three days without some medical attention!
Praying for you!!!
That is what my nurse wife says too. But the tylenol has kept it down. I will Doc in the morning.
Thank you for your prayers!

Drama night three is over. We had over 600 tonight - without the cast. We had many friends come and watch it. And all were moved by the message.
