While I understand the thought... an entire church joining together and actually singing TO Satan has always struck me as a little disturbing.

Man, you think waaay to much like me! I try not to visit with, pray to, or sing to satan.

I was at a meeting once when someone actually endorsed rebuking the devil angrily in tongues!

LOL.... Yes sir...

I don't understand why more people don't find it disturbing... but it just seems to be par for the course for most folks.

I guess I am just too nit picky.

I can not say that I endorse it but let me give you an instance. About 8 or 9 years ago my oldest son had been having trouble sleeping at night. This went on for about 2 months till one night he comes in our room AGAIN and says "daddy I can't sleep I don't feel well." I am coming out of a dead sleep and I am thinking, this has got to stop. I say to him, "why don't you feel good? what hurts?" He doesn't seem to know. I decided then and there this was more than just a scared child this had the makings of supernatural. Okay call me a freak or whatever but it just was not right that an 8 or 9 year old boy could not tell me what hurt or where he felt sick at. So I told him to go back to his room and I would come lay down with him and pray with him. I got up went in and laid down beside him and wrapped my arms around him and started praying and in a matter of seconds, not minutes he was sound asleep. I get up and leave his room and as I walk through the hall from his room to mine I had the coldest most evil feelig brush up to me and I heard it say to me, "Go ahead and let me have him, I will take care of him." To this day I can feel it all over me whenever I remember it. I turned and it was not my normal voice coming from me, It was thunderous, it was angry and it was in tongues. I started rebuking satan and his minions and all the was evil and vile. I bound his nasty little hide from entering my childrens minds and our home. I took the oil down and started annointing doors, windows, children, wife, myself, everything in and around our home. All the while in tongues. I must say that I confronted evil that night and I was angry and it did not take me 20 seconds or a few sentences of prayer to get into the spirit world.

by the way, none of my kids have ever had trouble like that since. Thank God
