BINGO!

Oh my, there is so much I could say about pastor's "insulating" themselves......................

But I will refrain. At this point in my life, there is no need.

(By the way, I do not in any way believe that ALL pastors fall into this category. There are some tremendous men of God out here!)

cneasttx, it is all about religion and a cultish life. Secrets and dirty little schemes. So sad.

Thanks, for clarifying this, Margie. I think many would agree that we, as a forum body, do not need to go and begin broad brushing pastors into a corner or specific corner.

TP, you are so right. It would never be right for us to say "all pastors do ____________" All pastors are human beings. There are more wonderful men of God out there who do what they do because of a sincere love for the souls of mankind than there are those who have no business in that position.

We, as saints of God, also have been blessed with enough intelligence to know when we've come up against one of those minority guys. And there is nothing - NOTHING - that says we have to stay.

I guess we can stay and whine or we can pick ourselves up, walk out the door and shake the dust off our shoes and then move on to where we can serve God. After all, that's what it's all about.

That is pretty much the bottom line. Sad and pitiful.
