Page six of the article states, "Many forbidden sexual practices including adultery, fornication, incest, homosexuality, prostitution, sodomy, and bestiality, are all addressed in the Bible. What does Scipture say about masturbation? The Bible says absolutely nothing about this practice. While the Bible is open about sex, it is silent on masturbation."
So how did the author became an authority on condemning the act?
This woman, Lynda Doty, was at The Rock Churhc for a while. She is a counselor and writes books but basically teaches against her own degree in pyschology. There are some pretty heavy titles listed on her site. JewelryJim,
If you look on your computer keyboard down toward the bottom and to the right you should see a comma. Use it. Particularly between titles of books when you list them!!!! LOL!!!

Masturbation is seldom practiced without some sort of fantasy with it...
Many Christian psychologists agree on this.
I'm sure she's not claiming to be the authority on anything. Athough I haven't had time to read the article in it's entirety.

Articles on such subjects as "The New Birth," will be accepted, whether they teach that the new birth takes place before baptism in water and Spirit, or that the new birth consists of baptism of water and Spirit. - THE PENTECOSTAL HERALD Dec. 1945

Which one are you.. the girl with the pigtails stuffing popcorn down her throat or the guy bolting like a scared (or as southerners say sceeered) rabbit?
This is obviously a subject people will not agree on all of the time... and a subject most would rather not discuss! I'd rather not discuss it myself.. that's why I'm saying CHEERIO!
Kudos to Apostolics addressing issues!

I have yet to read of any sharing their first hand experience, so you are right, it is not really addressed, even here.
I am not the girl in pigtails, FYI.

Your first hand knowledge of the subject was greatly appreciated.
