UPC Lynda Doty's Controversial Book
 

This woman, Lynda Doty, was at The Rock Churhc for a while.She is a counselor and writes books but basically teaches against her own degree in pyschology.There are some pretty heavy titles listed on her site. I haven't read any of her books, so I can't speak for the quality, but as for the titles--YES. We need books written by godly authors on difficult subjects. Absolutely.

I agree- I was pleased to see WAF put out a book for women addressing tough issues a couple of years ago- The title was something like - This is Life and I need Answers. Not sure if that is exact.

My adopted kids have been through some of the stuff that she adresses in her books. We NEED these kind of answers from a godly author.

There are some needed breaks in those titles. They all run together. I visited the site and realize some subjects need to be addressed, but do we really need that much? Masturbation: Finding Hope and Healing Through God's Word Little too much for me.

i think the better question might very well be

Do we need more closed minded people in pentecost that just sweep real problems under the rug and act like they arent there?

Is mastrubation a problem? If so, there are a whole lot of people with problems. :bigweightlift:
