Okay...I'm going to try and get this on a positive track, actually it will be my second attempt because yesterday I tried and before I could post it I accidently closed the wrong window and ....I gave up.

So here is my reason for reading all the Suber threads. Years ago my Uncle pastored a church in Las Cruces, New Mexico and I was visiting from California I was a whopping 8 yrs old. I actually got baptized in NM, because I had to have my uncle do it (I was 8, just got the HG and nothing would do but my favorite Uncle baptize me) Anyway Elder Bro. Suber I believe was evangelizing at the time and was holding services for my Uncle. I remember him as being one of the funniest (to an 8 yr old) preachers I had met! My mom at the time was battling an ulcer and he would constantly encourage her to eat some really hot peppers to cure her ailment. I remember that they had their baby Jonathan with them and he was about 8 months old I think, anyway they allowed me to hold him and watch over him while the grown ups finished dinner. This was a very big thing to young child!

I still remember when Bro. Suber would pat little Jonathan on the head that he had this enormous hand that would practially cover his little head but yet so gentle. I remember later being told that they were missionaries. I never would have guessed that the little baby I held would of grown up to be such a power vessel used by God. So why do I read these Suber threads only because of curiosity about where God is now leading them. And if and when I read anything negative I just disregard it because there seems always be someone who has something negative say no matter who there talking about!

Not that it matters in the grand scheme of things....

and I have better things to do with my time, like keeping the tides in check and the earth spinning and such.....

but i have no criticism for the Subers. I think both of them are pretty cool.

JS is a great guy and I fully believe he is doing exactly what he feels in the Holy Ghost he should be doing.

honestly who can ask anyone to do more than that?

Also DeRidder is an awesome place, I had to leave too but boy do I wish I was back there... JS probably feels the same! LOL!

Rosie,
I got a feeling of deja vu similar to what you described, when I read your post. Paul Suber was my age plus or minus a year. His dad died when he was young, so his mom was his main focus and he loved her dearly. I consider him one of my best friends during our late teenage years. We stayed weekends at each other's houses. We had loads of fun at church or crusing around the DQ. He was so funny. He could crack everybody up by suddenly inserting funny sermon taglines into an ordinary conversation. After we both got married our lives took different paths and the rest is history. I have good memories of Paul Suber.

As JG has said...it should be up sometime later today/this evening.

You gotta be patient with JS and the internet....it's not his favorite pasttime so he could drag his feet getting on and blogging...lol.

I have seen so many lies posted. The best one is the one Triumphant 1 did his best to combat. You know, the hair cutting party thing?

Prominent members of this board chose to believe the lie and even continue to spread it, even though T1 had totally proved it was false.
