Yes, and there are well-meaning denominal folks who ascribe to the same puritan views.
I know a few, too, but they're definitely in the minority.

I would have to agree, I think it has more to do with the generation than the denomination.

Re: What is Wrong With This Picture?
Anyways, when I see a conservative group teaching a marriage seminar, that was the first thing I thought of. Based on our own past experience AND some of the conversations here were people "heard"/were told to wear cloths and even long sleeve shirts to bed.
The whole "Branson Entertainment" thing -from a group who pulls most of their kids from pep rallies in high school, was a close second.
I actually thought the ad itself was nice and professional looking!

It was a great class and many couples benefited from it!!

LOL
My wife went to a ladies seminar a few years ago and her favorite line from the speaker (who was discussing various marriage issues) was "....and about the only thing God would forbid in the bedroom is other people, animals, and probably porn -unless you make your own!", to which the entire auditorium broke out in laughter.

Um...is this a rhetorical question?

Yes, partially...
However, since I've never been to a marriage seminar, I am curious as to what they truly believe about that subject. Do they say that ANYTHING is permissible together alone in the marriage bed? I really would like to know.
Thank you.

Re: What is Wrong With This Picture?
Okay, well...I typed two versions of my post, then started to PM you, then decided against it. LOL!
No details, but I have been to classes for women that went into "ideas" for keeping things interesting.
On the flip side, I have heard it preached from a certain pulpit (which I believe you are familiar with) that only one...way is permissible, and too much sex "feeds the flesh." No doubt. LOL!

This was the gist of our last so-called marriage seminar. Nothing was allowed on Sunday or Saturday night (because we should be contemplating Sunday morning) nor during "that time of the month" OR for a full week after because of the Levitical cleansing period.
I started to raise my hand to ask him "so 30 minutes ago was a no no?" but my wife grabbed it and pushed it down, with great force.
