- I am seeing a video with no audio.
- I want to know the Texas Ranger's Report.
- I want to know what the Police Officer says about his actions.
And that makes you upset? Somehow that makes me a believer that there is NO such thing as a bad cop? Seriously?

The expert says that...yes but read what he says about the actual VIDEO.
A national expert on police training says a 76-year-old man whose tasing attracted national attention should not have been detained in the first place.
"To me, the biggest element that was lacking was (the officer's) understanding of whether or not he had a legitimate probable cause for arrest and a lack of investigation to lead up to that point," Staton said.
Once the police discovered Vasquez's car was legitimate and didn't require an inspection sticker, "then that (negated) the arrest," Staton said, "unless Mr. Vasquez had actually attacked the officer prior to him going hands on, but that didn't happen - we can see that on the video."
His prior record does NOT negate what happened here. Bringing up his Prior record is irrelevant

It does mean something to me. I want to know what took him from Point A to Point B. I want to know, in the Police Officer's words, what his judgment call on this stop was about. I don't want to rely on a video without audio. I want to know what was said.
And, again, Vasquez didn't seem too worried that he couldn't hold his own at his age. Pretty awesome of him to exhibit an unafraid strength, even though it is against the law to resist arrest.
To be clear, in this day an age, regardless of what a video is showing us, I want an investigation. If Texas Ranger, Brad Freeman, is handling this, I have all the confidence it will be done right.

Has anyone ever walked up to you and punched you in the face? I'm just wondering.

Oh, to answer the question, no.

When the Ranger's report comes back showing the officer was wrong for the traffic stop and used excessive force, will you call them idiots and claim the officer is innocent? Or will you admit the officer acted stupidly and needs to learn the law before trying to enforce it?

I'm not going to call anyone stupid. I just want to know what actually happened. Vasquez is walking away when the Police Officer is speaking to him. I am just saying that I wouldn't have done that.
All of the police officers in my county are great, caring, hard working men and women. I respect them all.

I can understand wanting an investigation. That's well and good; however, it doesn't take much to see that the young officer may have been a bit overzealous in his contact with the man. He made no offensive movements towards the officer, did nothing threatening (unless he felt being corrected on the law was threatening). Simply walking away should not constitute an officer tasing someone twice. Officers should be willing to listen. This young man was not. Perhaps the loud gangsta rap he was listening to while making the traffic stop caused his inner OG to come out during the confrontation.

You know them all that well, eh? Impressive, though highly doubtful.
I'm sure the majority of officers in my county are great and hard-working, decent people, too. But I'm not naive to believe they're all pure as the driven snow and never have allowed emotions (like what you exhibited above) cloud their judgement.
