Re: Are Beards The Mark Of The Beast?
Gays drive cars. Vehicles are status symbols. Many men take a lot of pride in their trucks and hotrods. Let's prohibit these and go back to horse and buggy. lol
The stupidity of all these traditions of man that are taught for doctrines is just mind numbing. Only in the Apostolic movement are mental midgets all tied up in arguing over... facial hair and wedding bands.
Once one finds the truth... the real truth... one has no time for the traditions and doctrines of man.

With regards to beards and homosexuality ... this isn't a current claim. This was from N A Urshan back in the 80s or early 90s. And at that time, he was correct on the trend.

For someone who gets so easily offended and complains about name-calling, you do an incredible amount of name-calling yourself.

He doesn't get offended. He's on a mission. He's CTR's gift to the apostolic world.

Eh, sometimes I get offended. I'm offended that so many are so stupid as to enshrine clear doctrines and traditions of men, live by fear, and denounce those who do not.
I keep hearing whining voices crying out, "Where is revival?" We'll, you'll never experience revival today if your frozen in the 1950's. If you want a revolution, you have to think like a revolutionary. We fail to see that the book of Acts church was revolutionary for its day. We fail to see that the Apostolics were revolutionary in the early to mid 1900's, integrating music to dance to, taking cords from jazz and blues, and creating very powerful Gospel worship. Dancing, clapping, etc. in church was seen as immoral and uncontrolled.
If you want a revolution, you have to think like a revolutionary.

I respectfully disagree! I knew N A Urshan and believe he was factually incorrect then and even now were he here. And ... this is still a current claim in 2018 as some of my good ultraconservative friends will attest. It really is disconcerting to hear people I was raised with and I believe should know better come up with the most foolish defenses for their beliefs.

So "revival" isn't waiting on the beard prohibition to cease. Beards have nothing to do with whether or not there's revival.

Revolutionary??? In that prior to the early church there was no early church? IMO revolutionary is not a word I would associate with the early church. It wasn't a political revolt. There was no insurrection or rebellion.

No. Sorry, but no.

Again, bad word to use. You're trying to apply a word which refers to political overthrow of government to a spiritual thing.
