Sorry, MB, I don't see it that way.
Maybe I am being oversensitive, and I will certainly do some introspection, but as I said in my post, this is not a PO/Miz issue for me, it just happens way to often.
I enjoy hearty discussion, enjoy making my viewpoint known respectfully, and enjoy hearing other's viewpoints. I'm certainly not opposed to humor, I use it myself from time to time....what I am opposed to is resorting to sarcasm when you don't have a solid response.
Maybe Miz and PO meant it differently, and if they did, I deeply apologize....but, my frustration with the overall process remains the same.

I agree with your thoughts concerning GP's distasteful remarks.

Re: A Relevant Holiness Message
My mind goes back to a thread about TD Jakes wearing an earring at his daughter's wedding.
Some didn't seem to have a problem making that "public" image more public and discussing here on AFF. It was a thread about as long as this one.
And, because there was so much discussion onr www blogs and forums, he had the picture redone without the earring.

You are wrong PO. RM's church made it PUBLIC the minute it went on the internet for all to see. That is the definition of PUBLIC. Out in the PUBLIC for the PUBLIC to see.
If this were PRIVATE communication between RM and his church, he should have called a closed door session and only made the sermon content available to those who sign into a special private page on their website.
Once PUBLISHED on the OPEN INTERNET it becomes PUBLIC.
There are many web based church community programs that allow ONLY MEMBERS to see the content by SIGNING IN. A sermon posted on an OPEN website is now PUBLIC!

I have seen so many lies posted. The best one is the one Triumphant 1 did his best to combat. You know, the hair cutting party thing?
Prominent members of this board chose to believe the lie and even continue to spread it, even though T1 had totally proved it was false.

I think they meant it exactly as it was perceived. I had no problem with what they posted.
Not everyone enjoys conversation the same way you do. Some people try to lighten it up with humor or make a point WITH sarcasm. It's not always because they don't "have a solid response."
Sometimes people won't take you (or your thoughts or opinions) seriously--and if that offends you, I understand that. Even when you find something offensive, it doesn't mean those people have necessarily done anything wrong.

Please, T1. We had two sermons a week apart (?). How many of the same viewers do you think saw them and tied them together?
BUT, now we have Daniel making sure that they DO by his YouTube clip. Dragging the whole thing out for certain public scrutiny and then saying he "loves" RM? I don't think so.
Who would have thought to do that but someone with an agenda? Somene trying discredit and destroy a man's ministery for something that sticks in their craw?
Please, it is just ridiculous. Don't try the public stuff on me. Let's look at what the relevant issue is here.
