What exactly would your definition of defame be? Here's the one I used:
to attack the good name or reputation of, as by uttering or publishing maliciously or falsely anything injurious; slander or libel; calumniate: The newspaper editorial defamed the politician.
The comments concerning JS' moving around since 1994 were slanderous and could be injurious in the way of making someone question his stability and whether or not he'd be a good candidate for a pastor...
IMO, The way the conversation went was an attack on his good name.

Those were in fact derogatory statements made against this man.

apparently he doesnt tell you everything. what i have stated he said to his new church. i dont think he is one to tell 2 different stories.

My "beef" was the slanderous words concerning JS' moving around in ministry positions...and then several things being published here that were premature and not the complete picture by ones who acted like they had first hand knowledge when in fact it was just hearsay...
As far as the Shreveport opportunity...I think it's great for him!
