Politics is an ugly family member compared to the beauty of mystery Babylon.

This is so true and can bring tears of frustration. It's what our youth see. Sometimes the lure of Babylon feels much happier and peaceful than the fight.
In a way it reminds me of the words of Kenneth Levin, a clinical instructor of psychiatry at Harvard Medical School and a commentator on Israeli politics,
"...in the words of Prime Minister Olmert, "
tired of fighting... tired of being courageous...
tired of winning...
tired of defeating our enemies..." This dangerous mind-set, the desperate wish for an end to the hostility of surrounding states, and the concomitant embrace of delusions of peace, are as great a threat to Israel as the strategic challenges posed by its enemies."
All the political stuff can just make you tired.....
If, like Brother Ewing, we could bring down walls with love we would really see an awesome move of God and would rejoice......
