And what are UPC licensed preachers concerned about? TV resolutions, but not false doctrine and the appearance of the occult. Not good
who knows? not many of our UPCI licensed members have responded. If I were, I don’t know if I would respond. it seems this behavior is sanctioned in an official way.

You are absolutely right! This is heresy and the actions of occult members. This has got to be the dumbest thing I have seen. I have seen people get faith and try to run through a wall, which did not turn out so well. But the hair thing takes the cake!
It's about time the "Magic hair" sermons, articles, and other documents start to be cataloged .... someone needs to bring attention to this ... in A BIG WAY ... a position paper also needs to be written for ratification.
I just spoke to my wife about this and she said at one of the UPC AZ district womens conferences that one of the women instructed them to let down their hair and call on the power to come in the place.
I had no clue about that. If I would have known that I would have asked her not to go or not to participate in that because of it not being scriptural or even appropriate.
I was on the UPCI.org and I noticed that they had a photo contest going. I decided to browse a few of the submitted photo and I was shocked to find this among them. Is this a "new religion"?
This picture was taken at the Alabamas Ladies retreat. Sis Patty Twyman took down her hair to summon the power of the angels over the prayer requests. Many prayers were answered.
This happened at the WI Dist ladies retreat, maybe three years ago.

I have a female friend that attended a UPC district in upper state .. and they did it there... she said the woman stated "as I let my hair down angels filled the room" She said it from the platform as a main speaker... she was serious.. Gee doesnt this sound like the hair is doing the work of the supposed Saviour? Consider it for a moment.. think about it... Where does power come from? The cross, or uncut locks?
